Iran Launches Spanish TV Channel
(AP-San Francisco Chronicle) Nasser Karimi - Iran has launched Hispan TV - the first Spanish-language satellite TV channel airing from the Middle East. The channel, which has been on the air on a trial basis since October, "will be a means for better ties between people and governments of Iran and Spanish-speaking nations," Iranian President Ahmadinejad said Tuesday.
