Syrian Army Desertions Surge

(Bloomberg) Emre Peker and Donna Abu-Nasr - About 20,000 Syrian soldiers have deserted since Feb. 20, swelling the number of deserters to about 60,000, according to a Turkish Foreign Ministry official.
