Book Review: The Status of Arab Women
(FrontPageMagazine) Jamie Glazov - Burned Alive: A Victim of the Law of Men is the first account of the practice of honor killings given by a survivor, a Palestinian woman from the West Bank. Baby girls are also often disposed of in many parts of the Arab world. The author, "Souad," recalls her mother suffocating nine of her own baby daughters, twice right in front of her eyes.
