Christians Should "Convert, Pay Tribute, or Leave," Says Egypt's Muslim Brotherhood Candidate
(Gatestone Institute) - Raymond Ibrahim - According to the popular Egyptian website El Bashayer, Muhammad Mursi, the Muslim Brotherhood presidential candidate, said on May 27 regarding the Christian Copts: "They need to know that conquest is coming, and Egypt will be Islamic, and that they must pay jizya (financial tribute required of non-Muslims) or emigrate."
