Lebanese Man Sentenced in Failed Attempt to Bomb German Trains

[AP/Washington Post] Bassem Mroue - A Beirut court sentenced Jihad Hamad to 12 years in jail Tuesday for a failed attempt to bomb German trains. Hamad confessed to planting the bombs and said the aim was to protest cartoons that ridiculed Islam's Prophet Muhammad.
