Frenchman Killed in Jidda
(Reuters/New York Times) Laurent Barbot, 41, a technician for the French defense and electronics company Thales, was shot dead in his car in Jidda, Saudi Arabia, on Sunday. A Saudi Interior Ministry security official, Brig. Gen. Mansur Turki, said, "There is a strong possibility that this is a terrorist attack."
