Obama Invites Egyptian President for U.S. Visit
(KUNA-Kuwait) Egypt's new President Mohammad Morsi has received an invitation from U.S. President Barack Obama to visit the U.S. and attend the UN General Assembly session in September. The invitation was delivered by Deputy Secretary of State William Burns, Spokesman of the Egyptian Presidency Dr. Yasser Ali said in Cairo Sunday. During his meeting with President Morsi, Burns reaffirmed Washington's support for Egypt's democratic transition and economic recovery, Ali said.
