Jewish New Year: Israel's Population Nears 8 Million

(Ynet News) Yaron Drukman - On the eve of the Jewish New Year 5773 (2012), the population of Israel numbers 7,933,200 - with 5,978,600 Jews, 1,636,600 Arabs, and 318,000 others, data published Tuesday by the Central Bureau of Statistics revealed.
