Fiji Couple Have Duty to Teach Hebrew Locally
(Fiji Times) A couple who spent eight years in Israel and have a daughter who was born in Jerusalem six years ago want to start teaching Hebrew to local people. Ratu Lekima Lawenitoakula and his wife Wakesa Kuruwale from Narewa, in Rakiraki, returned to Fiji in July and started teaching basic Hebrew to friends and relatives. Ratu Lekima, a Christian, said he had a duty to spread the language of the Holy Land.
