PA Security Chief: Militants to Disarm after Gaza Withdrawal
(Xinhua-China)- Palestinian chief of preventive security Rashid Abu Shbak said Thursday that Palestinian militant groups will not be allowed to carry arms after the Israeli withdrawal from Gaza. Abu Shbak told Saudi Arabian al-Arabeya satellite television that militants should drop their guns after the PA takes control of Gaza. "There will be only one gun, the gun of the Palestinian security forces that will be used to bring security and safety to the Palestinians and will be used in imposing discipline and law."
