New Bin Laden Tape Opposes Iraqi Vote, Names al-Zarqawi as Deputy

(AP/New York Times) An audiotape message attributed to Osama bin Laden, broadcast Monday by Al Jazeera, called for Muslims to boycott elections in Iraq next month and endorsed Jordanian militant Abu Musab al-Zarqawi as bin Laden's deputy in that country.
