Syrian Human Rights Group: 8,785 Regime Troops Killed

(AP-Washington Post) The Syria-based Violations Documentation Center, a human rights group, said Monday that 8,785 Syrian troops have been killed in two years of fighting. More than 70,000 people have died since Syria's crisis erupted in March 2011.
