Iran Likely Behind Drone that Israel Intercepted
(Ha'aretz) Amos Harel - The unmanned aircraft sent from Lebanon on Thursday and intercepted by Israel 10 km. west of Haifa seems to have been launched by the Iranian Revolutionary Guards in Lebanon. The last drone from Lebanon, in October 2012, was eventually believed to have been launched by the Revolutionary Guards in Lebanon with Hizbullah as the host. It seems that Iran wished to openly demonstrate its potential ability to damage essential facilities in Israel, at a time when they are feeling pressure over their nuclear program.
