Kerry Sees No Role for Syria's Assad
(VOA News) U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry said Thursday in Rome that Syria's president, Bashar al-Assad, cannot be part of a transitional government that would try to lead the country out of its civil war. "In our judgment, President Assad will not be a component of that transitional government," Kerry said.
