Nine-Second Error Saved Rantisi
(Maariv-Hebrew) - Itai Asher A mistake in timing allowed Hamas leader Abdel Aziz Rantisi to escape an Israeli helicopter strike two weeks ago in Gaza, according to an Israel Air Force investigation. Two helicopters were each to fire a Hellfire missile simultaneously, but in this case there was a delay of 9 seconds before the second missile struck, allowing Rantisi to escape.
