Palestinian Factions Declare Cease-Fire
(Ha'aretz) - Daniel Sobelman and Amos Harel Hamas and Islamic Jihad Sunday announced they are suspending terror attacks against Israel for a period of three months. The Fatah movement and the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine issued their own similar declarations. Israeli concerns center on local Fatah groups which receive funding from Iran and Hizballah. Both military intelligence and the Shin Bet believe that the PA will find it very difficult to control the various Fatah factions.
