(New York Times) - Michael R. Gordon American convoys delivering supplies to the troops in Iraq are being attacked more frequently than during the war. The insurgents have become proficient in their weapon of choice - the rocket-propelled grenade. An area just south of Baghdad has become so treacherous that G.I.s have dubbed it "R.P.G. Alley." The attacks indicate that allied forces are contending with a cunning adversary, one that has studied the pattern of American military operations and has adjusted its tactics accordingly.
