Qaeda Leader KSM Executed Pearl

(New York Times) - American officials said Tuesday that Khalid Shaikh Mohammed, once al-Qaeda's top operational commander, personally executed Daniel Pearl, a Wall Street Journal reporter who was abducted in Pakistan early last year.
