Saudi Arabia Cannot Stay a Family-Owned Business
(Houston Chronicle) Editorial - Few countries are more tightly controlled than Saudi Arabia. The royal family chooses to run the place virtually as a family-owned business. While the royal family knows its own survival is at stake, there is little evidence it will be willing to subject itself to the democratic imperatives of its citizens, or to greater religious tolerance.
