Rabbi Elimelech Shapira, Murdered by Palestinian Terrorists
(Jerusalem Post) - Rabbi Elimelech Shapira, murdered early Thursday morning while driving to a religious study session in Petah Tikva, was the founder of a pre-military training college and the Eretz Hatzvi hesder yeshiva in Peduel in western Samaria. His friend and neighbor, Rabbi Yona Goodman, described Shapira, the father of eight children, as a kind, humble man who dedicated his life to educating and preparing young men to serve as future officers in the army.
