PBS Removes Slanted Material from Website
(Sydney Morning Herald) - A PBS documentary prepared by New York's WNET public television station to mark September 11, entitled "Caught in the Crossfire: Arab-Americans in Wartime," had a companion website portraying all of Israel as "Palestine," blaming Ariel Sharon for provoking the recent wave of violence by Palestinian Arabs, and linking to websites of Arab-American organizations that have defended groups like Hamas and Hizballah. The material has now been removed from the site.
