U.S. Halts Aid to Lebanon

(Ha'aretz) - The U.S. has decided to suspend $35 million in aid to Lebanon because of administration dissatisfaction with Lebanese policy toward Hizballah, threats against Christian opposition leaders, and over the decision to pump water from the Wazzani River, the Lebanese daily As-Safir reported.
