Iranian Academic Sentenced to Death
(BBC) Jim Muir - A liberal Iranian journalist and academic, Hashem Aghajari, a war veteran who lost a leg in the 1980-88 war with Iraq, has been sentenced to death for apostasy and insulting the imams of early Islam, after calling for reform within the Islamic clerical establishment.
