240 Million Trees Have Been Planted in Israel

(Israel21c) Karin Kloosterman - Thanks to the visionary Jewish National Fund (JNF) set up in 1901, Israel is the only country in the world to have a net gain of trees in the last 100 years. Some 240 million trees have been planted in Israel by JNF over the last 11 decades. JNF has also helped build 180 dams and water reservoirs and has established 1,000 parks.
