U.S. Lists Egyptian Group as Foreign Terror Organization
(Wall Street Journal) Samuel Rubenfeld - The U.S. State Department said Wednesday it listed Ansar Bayt al-Maqdis, an Egyptian group created following the uprisings in 2011, as a foreign terror organization. The group is responsible for attacks on Israel, as well as security services and tourists in Egypt. Egypt applauded the U.S. move.
