Interim Report by Committee Investigating Lebanon War Due Monday
[Ynet News] More than eight months after it was convened to investigate the conduct of Israel's political and military leadership during the Second Lebanon War, the Winograd Committee will release its interim report on Monday at 5 p.m. (Israel time). The report will address the war's first five days and what came before that, starting in the year 2000. The committee, appointed by Prime Minister Olmert in September 2006, will issue its final report in the summer.
