Abbas Extends Condolences to Family of Man Who Shot Rabbi Glick in Jerusalem
(Ha'aretz) PA President Mahmoud Abbas sent a condolence letter to the family of Muataz Hijazi, the man who shot Rabbi Yehuda Glick in Jerusalem last week. He wrote that Hijazi "rose to heaven as a casualty in the fight for the Palestinian people's rights and for the holy sites," and made no reference to Hijazi's involvement in the shooting.
