Saudi Arabia Acts to Crush Anti-Shiite Violence
(New York Times) Rick Gladstone - Saudi Arabian security officials moved aggressively on Tuesday to crush anti-Shiite violence, arresting 15 people in six cities and killing two others in connection with a terrorist ambush on mosque worshipers in a minority Shiite community. The mosque ambush on the eve of Ashura, a Shiite holiday, occurred Monday night, with at least five young men killed by automatic weapons fire.
