Jordan Bombs Islamic State Targets in Syria

(New York Times) Ranya Kadri and Anne Barnard - Jordanian warplanes bombed Islamic State targets in Syria on Thursday after the militant group's brutal killing of a captured Jordanian pilot. The Jordanian military's unusual public announcement of the airstrikes started with the words, "This is the beginning - you will know who the Jordanians are!"
