(Ynet News) Mirit Kushnir-Stromatza - Nina, 23, was born in San Francisco. After volunteering for the IDF, she says, "It's just so different from where I came from. In the U.S., young people are only responsible for themselves. If they fail, it's their problem. Here, they are given guns and make sure the country is safe."
