Self-Deception at the Basis of the Iran Nuclear Deal

The agreement states that "Iran envisions that this JCPOA will allow it to move forward with an exclusively peaceful, indigenous nuclear program." Yet none of the P5+1 governments truly believe that the Iranian program has been or is meant to be exclusively peaceful.
