Islamic State Beheads Syrian Archaeologist
(BBC) Khaled Asaad, 82, who was head of antiquities at the Roman ruins in the ancient Syrian city of Palmyra, a UNESCO World Heritage site, has been beheaded by IS fighters, his family said.
