Israel's Population: 8.4 Million

The Jewish population numbers 6.3 million (74.9%), the Arab population 1,746,000 (20.7%), and there are 366,000 (4.4%) non-Arab Christians and others. In the past year 28,000 immigrants arrived, mostly from Ukraine, France, Russia, and the U.S.
