Palestinian Murders 3, Wounds 4 in Etzion Bloc Shooting Attack
(Times of Israel) Raoul Wootliff - Three people were killed and four others injured Thursday by a Palestinian in shooting attacks near Alon Shvut in the Etzion Bloc in the West Bank. An Israeli educator, Yaakov Don, 49, from Alon Shvut; American yeshiva student Ezra Schwartz, 18, of Sharon, Massachusetts; and a Palestinian man, Shadi Arafa, from Hebron, were killed by Mohammed Abdel Basset al-Kharoub, 24, from Dir Smat near Hebron, who opened fire with an automatic weapon from inside his vehicle at Israeli vehicles, hitting several people. Then he rammed his vehicle into a car. Security personnel shot back at the suspect and arrested him.
