Russia Deploys S-400 Anti-Aircraft System in Syria
(Pravda-Russia) On Wednesday, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced Moscow's plans to deploy the state-of-the-art S-400 air defense system in Syria, after the Turkish Air Force shot down a Su-24 jet of the Russian Air Force. CNN's Matthew Chance believes that the deployment of the S-400 will allow Russia to control Syrian airspace. The S-400 system has already been delivered to Syria and deployed at Hmeymim airbase.
