Israel Reclassifies 380 Acres of Jordan Valley Land It Has Farmed for Decades
(Jerusalem Post-Ynet News) Khaled Abu Toameh - Israel has reclassified 380 acres of Jordan Valley land it has farmed for decades as state land following a Civil Administration investigation into the land's legal status under Israeli law. The land is close to the Israeli communities of Vered Yeriho, Almog and Beit Ha'arava. No Palestinians live in the area, which is situated near the northern tip of the Dead Sea.
