Putin Orders Syria Withdrawal, Saying Goals Are Achieved
(New York Times) Neil MacFarquhar and Anne Barnard - President Vladimir Putin on Monday ordered the withdrawal of the "main part" of Russian forces in Syria, in a move that reflected what he called the achievement of nearly all their objectives. Russia made clear it was keeping its new air base in Latakia.
