Iran's Intentions Are Still the Great Unknown
[Washington Post] William M. Arkin - I agree with President Bush and others who are cautioning that the Iranian threat remains alive. The reassurances that can be inferred from the new national intelligence estimate are being vastly overstated. It's not as if the NIE declares Iran benign or its nuclear weapons program over. In addition, Iranian threats to the Strait of Hormuz, interference in Iraq, continued development of long-range ballistic missiles and support for international terrorism are all potential flashpoints.
