Israeli Opposition Leader Herzog: UNESCO Pushing "Blood Libels"
(Times of Israel) After UNESCO passed a second resolution in as many weeks denying a Jewish connection to Jerusalem holy sites, Israeli opposition leader Isaac Herzog from the Zionist Union party says the UN cultural body is "spreading blood libels," comparing the resolutions to anti-Semitic canards used to persecute Jews in the Middle Ages.
