Death Toll among Iran's Forces in Syrian War Passes 1,000
(Reuters) Bozorgmehr Sharafedin - More than 1,000 soldiers deployed by Iran to Syria have been killed, Mohammadali Shahidi Mahallati, head of Iran's Foundation of Martyrs, said. It was a major increase from four months ago, when Iran announced that 400 of its soldiers had died in Syria.
