U.S. Ramps Up Drone Strikes on Al-Qaeda in Yemen

(Long War Journal) Bill Boggio - The U.S. military has continued its increased targeting of al-Qaeda's network in Yemen, launching more than 20 airstrikes over the weekend. The U.S. has launched more than 75 airstrikes in Yemen since the beginning of the year. The highest number of airstrikes conducted by the U.S. in Yemen in any previous year was 41 in 2009.
