Israel Explores Construction of Railway to Gaza

(Ynet News) Matan Tzuri - Last week, Brig. Gen. (res.) Kamil Abu Rokun, head of the Crossing Points Authority at the Israel Ministry of Defense, briefed the heads of local authorities in the Gaza vicinity on a plan for the construction of a railway from Israel to Gaza through the Erez Crossing - which today is used only for the crossing of people - for the purpose of transporting goods.
