Former Palestinian Officer Opens Fire on Israeli Troops
(Jerusalem Post) Anna Ahronheim - Ahmad Halil, 34, a former member of the Palestinian security forces, was killed by Israeli security forces after he attempted to fire at soldiers who came to arrest him for two shooting attacks on Saturday, the Israel Security Agency said Sunday. A Palestinian man was lightly injured Saturday after Halil shot at his vehicle north of Ramallah. Halil also opened fire on an IDF post near Nabi Saleh.
