Cape Verde to Keep Voting Against Israel
(Jerusalem Post) Herb Keinon - Cape Verde's President Jorge Carlos Fonseca issued a statement on Tuesday denying that the small island state off the coast of West Africa had pledged not to vote against Israel at the UN. Diplomatic sources in Jerusalem said they believe that Fonesca's about-face is the result of pressure by Arab countries who oppose the inroads Israel is making in Africa.
