Ritual Scribe from Israel Featured at Washington Bible Museum
(Jerusalem Post) Amy Spiro - Rabbi Eliezer Adam from Israel will be working in the new Museum of the Bible in Washington for the next year writing a Torah scroll. "For every 20 minutes of writing, I have another at least half an hour of talking," Adam said, since people stop and ask questions. In just the few days since the museum's opening, he said he has had many fascinating discussions, including with pastors and even a cardinal. He found that many were shocked to learn that the Bible was originally written in Hebrew.
