Israeli Scientists Develop Early Test for Pregnancy Complication
(Jerusalem Post) Judy Siegel-Itzkovich - Tel Aviv University researchers have discovered molecular biomarkers in the blood for preeclampsia, a pregnancy complication that is a leading cause of maternal deaths. Dr. Noam Shomron said, "Our findings form the basis for a simple blood test that would predict preeclampsia and, in turn, allow doctors to provide treatment that would prevent the very onset of the disease."
