One Killed in Iran Protest over Water Scarcity
(Asharq Al-Awsat-UK) Police killed a man while dispersing a protest over water scarcity in the province of Fars, Iran's IRNA news agency said Thursday. Protests have been held across southern Iran in recent weeks as tap water in some areas has turned muddy or salty.
