Egypt Halts Efforts to Broker Ceasefire Deal in Gaza

(Israel Hayom) Daniel Siryoti - Egypt's efforts to broker a long-term cease-fire between Israel and Hamas in Gaza have come to a grinding halt, Arab media reported Tuesday. Officials expressed concern that the most recent lull will collapse as well. Hamas military leader Yahya Sinwar told Palestinian media Tuesday: "The efforts to reach an agreement have stopped."
