Irish Prime Minister to Raise Human Rights Issues in PA when Palestinian President Visits
(Independent-Ireland) John Downing - Irish Prime Minister Leo Varadkar has said he will raise concerns about democracy and human rights in the PA, including the need to decriminalize homosexuality, when President Mahmoud Abbas visits this coming weekend. He said it was important to show Ireland was not afraid to raise serious issues of human rights in territories controlled by the Palestinian Authority and Hamas.
