85 Countries Vote to Adopt UN Resolution Urging Iran to Halt Widespread Human Rights Violations

(Center for Human Rights in Iran) 85 countries approved a resolution urging Iran to address a list of human rights violations including the widespread use of arbitrary detention. 30 countries voted against and 68 abstained.
